About us

NordBit is a newly founded bitumen Joint Venture of Petronord's subcompany Mabanol Bitumen from Hamburg and of H&R Refining based in Salzbergen. Boths companies holds 50 percent each.

Mabanol Bitumen and H&R Refining have already worked together in the field of bitumen since many years. In order to make this success suitable for the long run and make it sustainable, it was decided to break new grounds in order to combine boths companies' strength and to establish a new, indepent bitumen specialist.

Our drive is the vision of the perfect bitumen. A bitumen developed by the interaction of selected components, innovative blending concepts and dependable logistics, carried by the enthusiasm for the product bitumen.
